By shaping the quality and character of the Locust Hill Farms community, the value of its homeowners' investments will be protected and enhanced for years to come. This architectural style is rambling in nature and uses rugged natural materials. Custom designs can take their inspiration from a variety of popular styles and can be reminiscent of those in New England, Williamsburg inspired Colonials or Low Country Southern homes. The Manor Farmhouse encompasses the vernacular farm homes to southern classic revivals. Characteristics include expansive porches, lap and shake siding with stone and brick foundations and accents, gabled roofs and rambling footprints.

The French Country combines a rambling footprint with use of substantial rusticated stone. This is a European insired architecture historically found in the French countryside. Characteristics include steeply pitched roofs with subtly flared curves at the eaves and hipped roofs.
